Manchester College of Management Sciences was established on 12th May, 2010 in Peter House, Manchester. It moved to its current premises in September 2010. It is a medium-sized general further education college operating from City view House which is ideally located in the centre of Manchester. It is easily accessible to students/staff as it is only ten minutes walk from Manchester Piccadilly station and there are numerous bus routes connecting to all major locations in Manchester. By September 2011, the College started delivering ESOL citizenship and Prepare to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS level 3 and level 4) courses for local and home students. The college achieved A Trusted Status in November 2011. Since then, it has started marketing to recruit international students and in January 2012, it started Full Time Level 4 Extended Diploma in Management and full time level 5 Extended Diploma in Management in February 2012. The college offers a range of courses in business management sector to both local and international students. It currently offers ATHE, LCM, EDI and ISMM awarded qualifications from Level 1 to Level 7.
Vision: Manchester College of Management Sciences intends to make significant progress in the next decade towards being a model, internationally focused and financially sustainable further educational institution.

Library: MCMSc has its own library where a number of text and reading books are available. There are also audio-visual learning aids available for our students’ use. Students also have access to online learning resources. A wide range of resources and services including texts, periodicals, journals are available. All core books in minimum 4 to 6 copies are available. Additional to the core books, books recommended by lecturers are also available for extra reading. A request from students for a new book related to the course can be fulfilled within 7 days.
The Library is a useful starting point for your study and research needs. It stocks books and other materials relevant to your courses. It also has a good selection of reference materials including books, periodicals (some with online accessibility), and reserve articles. There are also novels and other books available for loan. Books may be borrowed for three weeks with the exception of Reference books (indicated by a label) which may not leave the library. You can renew books at any time, including outside of library hours, by sending an email.
Photocopier and Printer: Photocopier and printer are available in the library for student use. College has an innovative internet-based interactive learning resources facility connected with high speed broadband services. For a wider choice of general reference books, there are a number of public libraries in the surrounding area, where MCMSc students can become members such as Manchester Central Library, University of Manchester’s Library and many more. College helps students to get membership in those libraries.
Computer LAB: MCMSc has fully equipped Computer laboratories using the latest software as well as high speed access to the Internet. Also much other advanced software are available for students. MCMSc regularly review and update both hardware and software of the Computer laboratories.
Common Sitting Area: First and second both floors have extremely comfortable and relaxing sitting areas, where students or groups can sit together relax, chit chat during break time and MCMSc has friendly and helpful reception.
Free WiFi: Class rooms, sitting area, library have high-speed wi-fi facilities for all students. Students are advised to get wifi access from Administrative office.
