Description
The ESOL Skills for Life examinations contribute to the UK Government’s Skills for Life initiative by providing an assessment scheme for ESOL which is based around the published national standards for Adult Literacy and the Adult ESOL Core Curriculum. They are designed to match the standards and cover the curriculum with sufficient range, breadth and depth to reflect the use of the English language in real world situations, appropriate to the needs of the client groups and chosen Levels. The qualifications support users of the Curriculum in providing evidence of learners’ individual achievement as well as evaluating the overall effect of the teaching programme.
EDI / Trinity examinations are entirely externally assessed and therefore offer the opportunity of a fully quality-assured and professionally administered assessment package to course providers and learners.

Entry requirement
Candidates must have completed the minimum 10 years of formal education or Certificate in ESOL Skills for Life L1 & CEFR B1* Level in English Language Skill.
